Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using SparkForge, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including founders, co-founders, investors, and mentors.
Use of the Service
SparkForge provides AI-powered co-founder matching, project workspaces, fundraising tools, legal document templates, banking readiness guidance, and capital markets resources. You agree to use the platform lawfully and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service. AI-generated legal documents are templates and do not constitute legal advice — always consult qualified local counsel.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information during signup. Your username, email, phone number, and name are set during registration and cannot be changed after verification. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
Fees & Success Fee
SparkForge charges a 5% success fee on all funds obtained through the platform. This includes investment capital from investors introduced via SparkForge, grant awards discovered through the Funding Radar or Grants directory, accelerator/fellowship/competition funding, and any loan or debt financing arranged through the investor pipeline tools. The 5% fee is calculated on the total amount received and is due upon receipt of funds. This fee is separate from any subscription fees and applies to every deal closed through connections made on the platform. Fees are subject to change with 30 days notice.
Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you upload, including venture profiles, pitch decks, and documents. SparkForge retains ownership of the platform, its features, and AI models. By using the platform, you grant SparkForge a license to process your data to provide and improve the service.
Disclaimers
SparkForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will find a co-founder, raise capital, or achieve any specific business outcome. Matching results and AI-generated content are informational and should not be relied upon as professional advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SparkForge shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the platform.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos, Nigeria, unless otherwise required by local consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
